There are many different types of alternative therapies, such as:

we have seen some of these in classes, so now here is a small description about some others that we are not familiar with.

• Acupressure is a therapy which is very similar to acupunture, but it uses fingers pushing some parts of the body instead of using needles, for 3 minutes aprox. It is good againts headaches, nauseas, muscle pain, menstrual pain, among other things.

• Biofeedback: it is a new therapy, which teachs you how to control your breathing, heart rate, blood preassure, by stickers on the skin, transmiting electrodes. it is good agains stress, headaches, asthma, insomnia, high blood pressure, hyperactivity, between others.

• Guided imaginery: It is about taking your mind to different places and situations guided by someone else. You need to be in a place with silence, where you can be relaxed. your five sences must be involved in the exercise, to feel the smells, textures, tastes, etc. It helps you fight againts stress and insomnia. Also people who are dealing with pain, such as the cancer therapies.
